The God who Cares for you
The Fighting God
The promise for the week is found in
Exodus 14:14 "The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold
your peace". This is what God is promising you and me. Our
God is a Fighting God. He is ready to fight our battles for
us. When the children of Israel came from the house of Bondage
they had no experience in warfare, neither did they have any
trained soldiers. In the Physical realm there was no one to
help them. They were all alone.
The enemies of the children of God were
greater in numbers, had trained manpower and sophisticated
weapons. If the fighting God had not been with them, they
would have been exterminated. But we find that God's children
were victorious wherever they went.
Today we have the same fighting God. He
is coming with us and He is ready to fight our battles for us.
This week He is promising us "I will fight for you and you
shall Hold your peace" . No matter how powerful our
enemies may be in the Physical realm, Do not worry. You have a
Powerful Almighty God ready to fight for you. He will never
allow you to be put to shame. There are mighty angels at His
disposal who are ready to move in at the command of the Lord.
Today our Job is to renew our minds with
the Living Powerful Word. God expects us to put our
Entire and Total Trust in Him. If we really trust in him we
will be silent and not panic. We will not Worry and be in
Tension and Fear. When circumstances change from bad to worse,
we will not be moved. As the scripture says in Psalm 112:7
"He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed,
trusting in the Lord".
Why is this man not afraid?
Because his heart is fixed. it is fixed on the powerful
word. He trusts in His fighting God. In the
same way, dear child of God, Let your heart be fixed on the
written word, Trust in Him and you will always be a winner.
Failure, defeat will be a thing of the past. May God Almighty
