The Power Youth
The youth of the last days before the
coming of Jesus are the Joshua
Generation.
Today’s world is one where in the name
of entertainment the evil one has been
able to make the youth swing towards his
lies.
Much of today's TV shows and movies
depict scenes intended to excite the
viewer?
The friends surrounding the Christian
youth are given to unedifying filthy
talk . Such talking is normal for them
because as per
Ephes. 2 : 2-3 there is a spirit
which is working in the children of
disobedience which forces them to fulfil
the lusts of their flesh, and fulfill
the desires of their flesh and of their
mind.
In such circumstances God expects his
children to be different and not be
swayed by the unbeliever friends however
close they may be.
The bible reveals that he that is born
of God keepeth himself. Every child of
God who is born again must understand
that he is born of God and God expects
him to keep himself. Romans 12:1-2
commands us not to be conformed to
this world's morals and values, but be
transformed by renewing our minds.
Find out whether you are conforming to
the world's value system.
Be watchful and careful not to conform
to the world's value system.
Today what may be acceptable and normal
in man’s eyes are not acceptable to God.
one should understand that unseen powers
are always working trying to take
control of our minds. An unseen
spiritual battle is going on for our
minds.
If the evil one can take control of your
minds then he has taken control of you.
Take a decision not to entertain our
self with the godless values of this
world
God expects every young person to adhere
to Colossians 3:1, 2: "Set your mind on
things above instead of on things
below."
Who are young
men?
1 John 2:14
I have written unto you, fathers,
because ye have known him that is from
the beginning. I have written unto you,
young men, because ye are strong, and
the word of God abideth in you, and ye
have overcome the wicked one.
Young men are those who are Strong.
The young men are strong because the
word of God abideth in them.
The reason as to why the word of God
abideth in the young men is because they
have allowed the word of God to abide in
them as per
Col. 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you
richly in all wisdom; teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing with
grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Today God expects the young people to
live a life of Strength and power by
allowing the word of God to abide in
them.
When every young man understands the
power of the word they will go all out
to ensure that the word of God abides or
dwells in them.
1 John 2:14 also reveals that the
young men have overcome the wicked one.
They are always conquerors.
Today let us come in line with God’s
expectations and live a supernatural
overcoming victorious power life. This
is the Power youth that God is looking
at.
